Tung Chun was founded in the late 19th century by Wong Tok Lai and has been producing quality Chinese sauces ever since. It has remained "in the family" and is now overseen by a 3rd generation of the Wong family and their group president Dr Jimmy Wong. Tung Chun's Black Rice Vinegar is made from premium ingredients and doesn't contain MSG or added preservatives. It has a rich taste profile which makes it excellent for use in dishes with pork knuckle or aromatic ginger. It is especially popular as an ingredient in Shanghai-style spare ribs.
