Maesri Pad-Thai Sauce

Founded in 1966, the "Maesri" brand has grown to earn a reputation in Thailand as an excellent example of Thai sauces and flavours. The company is now a multinational corporation, providing Thai food products to countries around the world. Pad Thai is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as a street food in Thailand. Its reputation has grown over the years and it is now one of the most iconic Thai dishes, and recognisable to a growing number of Western consumers. It is typically made with rice noodles, shrimp, peanuts, scrambled eggs, and bean sprouts. Maesri's Pad-Thai Sauce is packed full of traditional Thai ingredients that bring out the sweet and sour flavour profile of an authentic Pad Thai. The sauce uses tamarind juice, sugar, shallots, garlic, salt, tomato paste, vinegar, soyabean oil, and chilli powder. Tamarind is a brown, pod-like fruit with a sweet, tangy pulp.
